DEAP, a Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) device provides CPAP, CPAP-R and BiPAP(S/T) treatment for patients suffering with different stages of sleep apnea. The device can store patient usage data which can be retrieved using an android based smartphone over Bluetooth. The android app can be customized to view data in different graphical representations.

The demand for CPAP units are bound to grow as per survey reports. The objective is to provide medical care as per world standards at affordable price. This technology matches in performance to the imported units but at fraction of their price.

FACILITIES REQUIRED

The job requires sheet metal work, machining, mechanical assembly, PCB fabrication and population.

a. Machine tool requirement

  • Sheet metal working tools.
  • Lathe and drill machine.
  • PCB fabrication facility and soldering station.
  • Multimeter and oscilloscope.
  • Digital manometer for pressure calibration. & humidity sensor.
  • Air compressor/ cylinder.
  • Electronic Flow sensor (Ex. Make Sensirion , Mode No. SMF3000 ).
  • PC running Windows 10 or Linux with I2C interface.

b. Space

  • Approximately 1000sq feet of space will be required to set up the assembly facility.

c. Power Supply

  • Single phase 230VAC, 50Hz

d. Manpower (technical only)

  • One turner and One fitter for mechanical shop.
  • Technician for PCB fabrication and assembly.
  • Diploma engineer (electronic/electrical/computer) for software programming and testing.

Who Should apply


Interested parties with Engineering & Scientific knowledge, good financial background and adequate experience of products manufacturing & fabrication with technical capability in the area of interested technology and having or interested in setting –up facilities for production would be preferred.
