UV Sterilization System for bulk inward goods and hand held luggages

UV Sterilisation System

The system offer solution for surface sterilisation of large volume goods as well as hand held luggages.

The system is capable of delivering UV fluence dose to the object by shining 254nm light and capable of delivering dose 90mJ/cm2

UV Tunnel System for screening Bulk inward goods

This is a tunnel-like structure with 3 feet width x 6 feet length x 4 feet height for the disinfection of materials and goods. The items to be disinfected are carried on the trolley (manually)to the tunnel chamber for UVc exposure on all sides (except the bottom). UV-C 7 lamps, each with 36 Watts 254nm wavelength, arranged in 4 corners, two sides, and on top. The lamps can deliver UV-C light dose of 2-8 mW.s/cm2 to the recommended energy to disinfect the COVID-19 virus. The outer body is made of powder-coated mild steel with 40 mm square pipe structure and 1.6mm thick sheet metal covers. UVC tunnel inside surface is polished Stainless-steel structure made of SS304 metal sheet of 1.6mm thick. Manual ON/OFF switch control with interlocks to stop operation in case of any fault in the system. An electrically controlled digital timer is used to set UVC exposure time. Auto-switching OFF facility is made to put off UVC lights when not in use to reduce power consumption and increase the life of UVC light.

UV Conveyor System for screening Handheld luggage

UVC disinfection tunnel with motorized belt conveyer comprises of SS 304 reflective tunnel surface, aluminum profile, machine frame structure, motorized belt conveyor with geared motor, and electrical control panel. Total conveyor length: 1200 mm; UVC tunnel length: 500 mm; UVC lights on three sides: 12 Nos each of 450 mm length.

The UV sterilization system is developed as a need for screening bulk goods that are received and handled at the receipt section of stores and for hand luggage, which are contemporary with that of scanners at the air port.

UV Tunnel System for Bulk goods

  1. Electrically Controlled UV disinfection system with safety features.
  2. UV-C lamps on all 4 corners of the tunnel and two sides on 1 top side to provide better exposure to all sides of the goods and the top side.
  3. 7 nos of 4 feet length 36W UV-C lamp with a controller to cover all sides, with reflection provided by polished stainless steel.
  4. UV measurement setup with UV LIGHT INTENSITY METER MODEL UVC 254 LUTRON, Model UV 254 LUTRON UV C meter wide range 19.9 9 mW/cm^2 with RS 232 Option.
  5. UV tunnel inside surface to be polished Stainless steel structure made of SS304 sheet metal of 1.6mm thick.
  6. The Outer body structure is to be made of powder-coated mild steel with 40mm square pipe structure and 1.6mm thick sheet metal covers.
  7. Manual ON/OFF switch control with interlocks to stop operation in case of any fault in the system.

  11. Permanent and rigidly fixable mounts for anchoring the tunnel to the floor.
  12. Flexible rubber strip safety curtain at the entry of the tunnel to ensure safety to operator from UV light exposure.
  13. Power supply from 220V AC mains.

Handheld luggage scanner

  1. Electrically Controlled UV disinfection system with safety features.
  2. Inner dimensions (cms) 50x50x30.
  3. Inner body is made up of SS reflective finish.
  4. Outer body is made of MS Powder coated.
  5. The front door consists of thick tampered glass 6mm or more with black powder-coated.
  6. Single side openable with magnetic catcher.
  7. UV Fluorescent lamp – A germicidal producing UVC at 180-280 nm wavelength, 12" and 8W power.
  8. SS tray to keep the goods on the inner surface.
  9. Electronic circuit for start and stop with timer.
  10. Power supply from 220V AC mains.
Salient Features

These are environment-friendly and contact-free effective sanitization methods. The exposure period can be set for the required UV dose. The luggage scanner conveyor system can be employed for practical disinfection purpose without much time, i.e. it can be used as "on the go" mode.
