SPECTRUM STABILISING PC-MCA
(PHAST2)

Model PHAST2 , a 100MHz Wilkinson type ADC with up to 8K conversion gain, is a PC card with programmable features. It also provides SCA mode MCS operation. The card caters to the specific needs of precision nuclear spectroscopy at low to moderate count rates.
Salient Feature
Wilkinson type 100MHz ADC with conversion gains of 8K,4K,2K and 1K
MCS operation with analog pulse input (SCA mode operation)
ADC differential nonlinearity 2% or less over upper 98% channels
Pile-up rejection input (delayed coincidence/anti-coincidence)
Gedcke-Hale dead time correction or pulser based dead time correction
Spectrum stabilisation with spectral peaks or pulse generator peak
On board histogram memory in each card to facilitate independent operation
Simultaneous acquisition of two spectra by logic pulse steering
Complete MCA emulation software for simultaneous operation of four cards
Automatic location and area determination of up to 500 peaks
Nonlinear least-square fit of peaks with exponential tailed model
Energy , peak shape and efficiency calibration
Nuclide identification and activity calculation
