This technology is used to test trip points of plant safety system by servoing the input signals around the set point strictly one at a time through incorporating a floating current source. This automated system aids the plant maintenance, as wiring need not be disconnected to calibrate or to test safety signals. The OLSPSS finds OEM application in computer based plant safety systems, and to make hand held live field calibrators.
