Micronization Of Natural Graphite Powder
Graphite powder in micron size range is one of the basic requirements for making its colloidal suspension in aqueous or organic medium. Grinding of graphite powder in narrow range is an important unit operation. BARC has developed a novel technique for efficient grinding of Natural Graphite. The grinding process presently available can produce 2.75 kg of 2
µm size graphite powder in about less than 12 hours of grinding. Energy Consumption per batch is 40 kwh.
