Digital Medical Imaging System
Digital Medical Imaging System (DMIS) is an advanced film less X-ray imaging system offering Fluoroscopy, Radiography and Digital Subtraction Angiography with offline study mode in a single unit. Digital Radiographs promise instant image viewing, reduced patient dose, networking, teleradiology and more significantly, generally, no retakes. The patient dose is reduced by an order of magnitude as compared to the conventional film-based radiography units. In public hospitals where radiologists cater to a large number of patients daily, digital radiography and fluoroscopy system can be very convenient as it significantly reduces the time of X-ray examination, by eliminating the time delay of processing the X-ray films.
Know-how covers, wiring diagrams, technical and operational manuals, schematic drawings for above technology. One fully functional unit is installed at BARC Hospital, Mumbai. Technology would be offered on as-is-where-is basis with reference to documentation for further commercialization.
Entrepreneurs having experience in design, fabrication, testing, manufacture of medical and radiological equipments, having trained manpower for handling X-rays, good development team of hardware and software with experience in image processing, networking, and customization of the product, experience in plastic moulding and sound financial background need only apply.
