The technology is for Tourniquet-less Beat-to-Beat Non-Invasive Blood Pressure (NIBP) Monitoring Module.It has an advantage over periodic measurement by oscillometric method as it eases the discomfort caused to the patient due to the fact that every time the tourniquet is required to be inflated to a pressure of about 160-180mm Hg. NIBP-Beat to Beat Module records ECG (Electro-cardiograph), PPG (Photo-plethysmograph) and IPG (Impedance-plethysmograph) signals continuously and uses Linear Multivariate Equations for determination of Systolic and Mean Arterial Blood Pressure. |
