A prototype wide angle telescope MYSTIQUE was operated at GOALS during 1995-2000 for the study of polarization and spectral properties of Atmospheric Cerenkov Events (ACE) produced by extended air showers in the atmosphere. Deploying 30 small area detectors spread over an area of ~1 hectare, the MYSTIQUE array had a threshold of >100 TeV.
