The Medical Division provides Health Care facilities under the Contributory Health Service Scheme (CHSS) of DAE. It also functions as a referral center for outside Mumbai DAE unit beneficiaries for advanced treatment.

For this purpose the Medical Division has a multispecialty hospital at Anushakti Nagar and 12 Zonal dispensaries in various locations in Mumbai, along with two occupational health centre at Trombay & BRIT (Board of Radiation & Isotope Therapy), Vashi. A 24 x 7 Casualty Ward is also functioning at the BARC Hospital premises.
