L&PTD is an integral part of the Beam Technology Development Group and is engaged in the research and development program of high power laser, plasma and electron beam and their applications in specific areas. With more than a hundred scientists, engineers and technicians and appropriate equipment and machinery, the Division has attained the capability to meet the different specialised requirements of the Department of Atomic Energy.
